Salvation
We believe salvation is not earned but is a gift to everyone who chooses to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord.
(Jn. 3:16; Rev. 20:15)
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Bible is truth without any mixture of error. The Bible is our final authority and our success in life is dependent on it.
(Ps. 119:160; Heb. 4:12; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; Heb. 1:1-2; 2 Pet. 3:16)
We believe salvation is not earned but is a gift to everyone who chooses to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord.
(Jn. 3:16; Rev. 20:15)
We believe the Holy Spirit assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift that is available to anyone who has received Jesus Christ as Lord. Speaking in tongues is evidence that someone has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
(Rom. 8:14-16,26-27; Acts 2:1-4; Rom. 8:9-11)
The church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. Its foundation is the Holy Bible in its fullness, the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and the Church exists to take the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity to glorify Christ.
God created man to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by rejecting Him or in eternal union with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
